Thursday, June 30, 2022 - Double decanted at 4:30, served at about 8. I found spices on the nose, but I knew to look for them. None of three blind tasters mentioned spices. A very structured wine that showed grace and class, and real complexity of fruit and mineral tones. There’s good material here but the wine needs maybe another 10 years to reveal all that it’s got. It was still uncurling itself as we had our last sips, hours later. A very good but not a great Malconsorts.
