Friday, January 6, 2006 - Beautiful! Decanted for two hours. Not showing much age in appearance. But wow, what a complex nose of barnyard, humus, mushrooms, raspberries and red fruits. Over time the aroma started showing violets and sandalwood. On the palate, sweet, thick, rich, with a gorgeous texture and mouthfeel. The only possible flaw was a little VA/unintegrated alcohol, but that is really splitting hairs. A gorgeous wine, drinking now.
