Thursday, July 14, 2022 - Querciabella (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): Leather, earth, quite a herbaceous leafy notes, slight blackcurrant is meaty, savoury. the impression, on the nose, of a touch of sourness and slightly sharp underpin. Alcohol prickle. Medium plus intensity acidity is a little green on the palate. tight tannins prove a little hard, drying, chalky and green. alcohol warmth. Not very nice. Lacks balance.
