Sunday, July 31, 2022 - Not impressed with this particular bottle at all! A stewed nightmare scenario of what you fear from 2003. One of the few that have met the vintage stereotype so far. The underlying wine was sweet, and more meat driven than earthy, with big elements of fleshy steeped plum and some prune. More like an old Malbec...Anyway, I am pretty sure this was bottle damage, so I will not rate. But let this note float, for my next episode.... Try again
*I bought a magnum yesterday. That should show fresh...TBC
