Saturday, August 6, 2022 - This was an outstanding wine. It was more old world-like than typical for California (which I like). High acid. High alcohol. Medium bodied. Big but smooth tannins. Great balance of fruit and secondary/tertiary notes on the nose and palate. Only noticeable "new worldliness" was that it had a bit less minerality than a good Burgundian Pinot Noir.
