Tuesday, August 23, 2022 - Simple, quick decant in white wine carafe.
Pale but vibrant gold
Nose medium intensity but highly expressive, perhaps stemming from the Sauvignon blanc: flower blossom, green apple and faint pear, stone fruit like peach. Faint citrus, banana, etc. Vanilla, honey and smoke from oak.
Medium body, medium plus acidity, medium alcohol. Medium finish.
Lovely blend of SB and Semillon, typical of the Bordeaux whites.
Paired with sea bass, tomato and chickpea.
