Monday, February 6, 2023 - Decanted 7 hours in advance, barely enough sediment to make decanting necessary but as with virtually all Reynaud wines aeration is key. This was an outstanding wine experience. After enjoying many a Reynaud all-Grenache wine the Fonsalette rouge showed what elements Syrah and Cinsault can bring into a blend. This did not taste at all like a ~22 year old wine. Fresh, lively, balanced. Perfect pairing with grilled magnet de canard. This bottle was in a perfect place and will target the remaining bottles for the next 0-3 years.
