Monday, September 24, 2012 - DINNER AT Q4 CENTRO WITH ROBERTO AND FAMILY

Plum color, age showing, fading at the glass
Subtle nose, some perfume characteristics
Medium plus body
Soft, fruit still evident, chocolate, evolved tobacco, some leather and faded American oak...hints of dill and anise

I was concerned that this was past due, and although definitely peaked and on its way down, this was an outstanding example of past Silver Oak vintages. I would have scored it higher had I consumed this bottle several years ago.
