12/30/2021 9:33:00 AM - Good to hear my friend. Our mutual acquaintance Gregg R. was mugged in San Francisco last week. Crazy times out there. I'm glad you are well. I will be doing some traveling next year, and will be heading back to Asia once things loosen up. Looking forward to your New Year's posts. Cheers!

12/29/2021 8:39:00 PM - The Tempranillo Extravaganza was marvelous. We recently did a Kistler event with three Chardonnays from 2014, three Chardonnays from 2015 and a 2016 Pinot Noir magnum. Winemaker Kesner of Kistler gave us some guidance so the experience was excellent!!!

12/29/2021 8:38:00 PM - Hi Genghis88. Thanks for your message and kind words. I hope your Mama and gals are feeling well. The pandemic is a pain as are the wine laws of Thailand. However, we are guests in The Kingdom so we do our best to be friendly. Let us know if you parachute into The Land of Upside Down Smiles. Today, we will open a 2009 Sea Smoke Ten and 2012 Sea Smoke Southing with some friends snacking on French Sour Dough Pizza, Korean Fried Chicken and Cantonese snacks. To infinity and beyond...

9/30/2020 6:28:00 AM - I'm very sorry to hear that. I am concerned about both my elderly mother and my gals. They have largely been self isolating during this pandemic, but the lack of social interaction is slowly killing them Very sad times, and it's too bad about your social media accounts but I understand why you have pulled them down. I know that I not only speak for myself in saying everyone enjoyed your posts. I hope you are healthy and still putting back the bottles. Don't be a stranger, and let's stay connected. I am supposed to be heading in your direction once this current situation resolves itself. Be well brother, and stay safe.

9/30/2020 3:12:00 AM - Thanks! No more Twitter or FB. I only joined at the request of my Mom. She passed away from Covid19 mid-July. I cancelled my accounts. Things are OkeyDokey. We do not even post on IG any longer due to odd rules and potential fines regarding "advertising" of wine in The Land of Smiles.

She also loved a little lick of wine now and then. A side note: I'm a huge Simpson's fan (especially the earlier ones when the writing was better in my opinion). Your profile pic is awesome! - Homer Holland: I am sorry to hear about your dog, such a nice face on your profile photo, but she died at decent age. And yes, of course, I am a big fan of Homer Simpson too!

3/20/2018 7:20:00 AM - Hello Buzz. IMO, BC wines are OVERPRICED and still very young in their development. The industry here is decades and decades behind California, Oregon and Washington which produce FAR superior products. BC wines have a notably non-existent aging profile. Try Vanessa Vineyards, and Summerhill Pyramid. Both decent producers with good products albeit pricey. As a side note, BC Ice Wines are world class.

3/20/2018 12:20:00 AM - Hi Genghis88. We understand BC wines are yummy. We have tried a few, but nowhere near enough. Any specials you might recommend?
