The brightness is pleasingly prominent for a 2009, a vintage I always thought of as having a lot of baby fat on top of its spine. There's plenty of peachy fruit, and the finish has good persistence and freshness. It's drinking well now if you want a youthful Kabinett. Given the depth I think this one can go for longer term aging to see what develops.
