It had a depth and focus I've never gotten from this wine before: earthy, beef stock undertones married to bright, vibrant citrus high notes; I got the impression of a simple chord with several pristine components that blend perfectly together. This bottle had a lot to say and wasn't even close to being finished when we finished it.
