Tuesday, June 13, 2017 - Slightly muddled light ruby. As before, rose and other floral tones with faded red fruit. Light, earthy, clay-based feel. Soft red fruits and berries, a dash of herbs, fine acidity, and disappearing tannins. This is the antithesis of overripe, overly dense 2009 cru Beaujolais-limpid, elegant, and still drinking very well. The acidity should carry it for a few more years, but this was my last bottle since every time I tasted it, I thought it could not possibly go on much longer.
