88 Points

Friday, April 27, 2012 - Uncorked for two hours, served at room temperature. Color: Medium Red. Nose: Green Pepper, Black Cherry, Raspberry, Earthy tones. Palate: see nose. Finish: Medium. Tannins: Medium to High. Alcohol: 13 % well integrated. Medium bodied mouthfeel with initial red fruit. Mid-palate adds green pepper transitioning into an earthy and moderately tannic finish. A great food wine at the moment and will get better with short- to medium term cellaring. 87-88 points.
