Monday, January 31, 2011 - The fruit here is reminiscent of other Foothills wines I've had and liked: sappy, red, intense, and a bit green. I'm sure that greenness relates to the acid that keeps this wine fresh and exceedingly drinkable. Pepper and olive notes appear occasionally, as does a bit of heat. Not overdone to my palate, though. Rather, it was robust - but not huge - and pretty damn tasty.
