Tuesday, November 8, 2011 - Nat cork. A pale red, bit cloudy, Pinot like in the glass. Warm red fruits like rhubarb on the nose and something herbal or medicinal like sarsaparilla or something. Lively and tart, at least med bodied, tangy with a lasting finish. Not a ton of fruit, more a sense of rose petals and cranberries perhaps. Peppery too. Old world, food friendly, and delightfully low in alcohol, even if what's there does assert itself a bit. Has some high altitude character. I like it.
