Sunday, February 7, 2021 - What a beautiful fulsome and complex wine. Golden colour with browning throughout. Small bubbles, good fine froth on pouring. Aromas immediately showed caramel dipped apples, oranges, brioche, minerals, florals if you dig in. Rich and well layered.
Nice zippy, tingly, juicy acidity but also giving in to a rich fatness on the back end. Lemons, hazelnuts, caramel dipped apples, candied orange peal. Getting a creaminess/chalkiness, with spices and a biscuit nature as well.
Beautiful wine. Dry but still gives that slightly sweet flavour until the mid palate
