Thursday, March 3, 2022 - During a Commanderie event. From Imperial. for many this was the wine of the night, beating the 2004 Haut Brion (also Imperial) and the 1998 Chateau Margaux. Beautiful mature Merlot nose with truffles, gingerbread, blueberry, cinnamon. Soft palate with well integrated tannins and enough acidity to support it. Simply wonderful.
