Friday, July 27, 2018 - Opened, double decanted and drank over 2 hours. Expressive nose initially but quickly became subtle. Color showed brick and obvious aging. Palate a well integrated mixture of fruit (subtle), soft to moderate tannins, and benign acidity. Paired nicely with grilled lamb chops. Although this wine is drinking nicely now, I am curious to see how my other bottle will fare in a couple years. Will the balance and integration reach new heights or crash!
