Tuesday, February 17, 2015 - Purple ruby. No fading at rim. Initial aromas of rhubard, followed by allspice and clove. Some VA initially, specifically ethyl acetate, that resolved with air and time. Mint, especially wintergreen, aromas and flavors, along with more traditional Syrah flavors of roasted red fruit and meat. Medium weight and tactile in the mouth, with fine sediment at the bottom of the bottle. Sourced from the winery.
