Friday, January 13, 2017 - Deep, extracted purple. Crushed flowers, minerals, dusty plum nose. Finely grippy on the palate, with cascading layers of roasted blue fruits, powdery cocoa balanced with acidity. Medium weight in the mouth, superfine tannins, some sediment in the bottle. Amazing bottle, unbelievable value, showcasing the best of what Guthrie was doing at the time. Sourced from the winery.
