Wednesday, March 13, 2024 - 2006 Barolo (Trattoria One Fifth, NYC.): [Double-decanted for one hour around 10am.] Loads of black fruit in the nose. Sweet black fruit and plenty of tannin in the long finish. A bit better than the last time (2/28/2023). Maybe because it got more air.
