Thursday, January 10, 2013 - A private dinner (Amsterdam): Château-bottled, excellent condition, impeccable provenance. Amazing power and richness, excellent depth and wonderful weight of fruit, wonderful sweetness, big, tannic, excellent Cabernet Franc typicity and spice. A truly great 1948, incredibly vigorous at 65 years of age.
