Monday, December 16, 2013 - From a good looking bottle with a 1 cm fill, this wine had a light gold center and clear rims. I opened it because it looked a bit darker than another bottle I have. The medium+ intensity nose showed apples, citrus, dark honey, and a bit of oxidation.

In the mouth, this wine was medium bodied with great richness and length. The acidity was fully integrated and resolved. This clearly would have been a 95+ point, world class bottle if it didn't have the oxidation notes.

While this bottle looked good, it was not properly cared for a some point along the way. While this example was a bit past its prime, others should be in much better shape.
