Sunday, April 24, 2022 - Light gold. Yellow stone fruit (peach, plum) on the nose, with a minty note as well. The palate is pretty weighty for a Kabinett and has the texture more of a Spätlese. There's racy acidity here still though, balancing the sweetness nicely and leading into a relatively dry finish that is the most impressive aspect of the wine: it builds layers and layers of tangerine and apricot. Delicious now, probably delicious later too.
