Monday, March 21, 2016 - Surprisingly closed nose, ripe blackberry, scorched earth and stem. Strong stem note but I believe this was destemmed. It remains a bit disjointed. and tight, never revealing the beguiling decadent fruit. Excellent concentration, nicely layered fruits and medium finish that ends with strong stem. Oh well.
