Friday, July 9, 2021 - I’ve been very lucky to drink a number of vintages of this wine and I think this along with the 2010 might be my favorite. The color is a light cherry/ruby with a pink rim. The nose is glorious: red fruits, lavender and a sprinkling of spice. Sweet perfume. So classic. Medium bodied. Just entering peak perfection. Velvety, pure, complete. Simply outrageous Village. I can’t see it getting better but should be delicious for another 5 or so years. (93)

To me, it is one of the best examples of a village wine offering a perfect window into the quality and style of a great house. Other producers would be delighted to produce Premier Cru wine at the level of the Mugneret sisters' modest AC Vosne-Romanée.
