Sunday, August 6, 2023 - 2018 Dauvissat Family Chablis Tasting (Seattle): What a delicious bottle of Burgundy! The ripeness of the 2009 vintage is on full display here, in the lush, sweetly inviting Echezeaux. This is hedonistic for Echezeaux...maybe that has more to do with Faiveley style combined with the warm vintage, but what this bottle lacks in subtlety and mineral finesse, it more than make up in pleasure. Still fairly primary and should improve further, but if I had these in my cellar, it would be hard to keep my hands off of them. 95-96 points
