A bit bland at first, just a drinkable, easygoing quaff of soft, fresh raspberry fruit, no hard edges but not much personality, either. But it does improve a bit over the course of the bottle. It doesn't pick up a whole lot of character but does develop a light lacing of crushed granite that gives you something to think about just when you're itching to move on to something else.
