Monday, May 9, 2022 - A very pretty nose. Forest berry and cherry fruit, some stems notes and florals. It's mid weighted, with lovely balance, carrying the weight of the vintage with grace. A lovely mix of berry and cherry fruit, perfume, and savory- stemmy notes on the palate. It's supple and midweghted with a textural softness I love. This is a wine of harmony and interesting contrasts. Elegance with subtle power and depth. A broad palate presence coupled with a light touch and softness in the midpalate. On the back end, another curve ball as it finishes with fine but surprisingly firm tannins. Drinking youthfully well. I will hold my remaining bottles for a few years. 90 +
