Saturday, August 6, 2011 - shared this with uncle marty, aunt betty, vicki, leslie and pat at benito's trattoria in chester, new jersey. served with dessert course. i had been holding on to this bottle to share with uncle marty in honor of dr. lamm. unfortunately, the proper occasion never arose until now. at this point, the wine was oxidized to the extent that fruit characteristics were signiicantly masked. color was golden. the only consolation was a hint of honey in an otherwise dry wine. i don't believe my storage conditions were hurtful to the wine. so, a word of caution to members holding onto this wine; unless you enjoy your white wine maderized, plan to make salad dressing.
