Given thirty minutes or so to unfurl, it was delicious, with deep, dry black fruit, and endless depths of meat, leather, earth and olive notes, underscored by firm, yet 0lush tannins. The balance suggests a long future, though it gives a lot of pleasure right now. If I had a bunch (I don’t), I would drink one a year forever. Given that I only have a few, my next bottle will be 3-4 years from now.
