Friday, August 3, 2012 - Nose of anise and licorice. Palate blackberry chocolate and plum. Velvety texture with a soft mouthfeel - almost shiraz-like. Medium to long finish with acidity, obvious American oak that is a little warm for my palate. Overall it's well integrated but a little over oaked? More time??
