Sunday, February 20, 2011 - Pop/poured. Dark fruits, cedar and mature character on the nose. The fruit flavors are excellent and have good depth, but at this point the overall palate tilts a little to far towards acidic for my tastes. As a result, this is not as lush in terms of mouthfeel as it could be. With all that, it does have a surprisingly long finish with some fine tannins that show up with air. I'll update if it improves with air.
