Saturday, August 20, 2011 - Decanted and consumed after about 15 minutes. Very restrained wine on all levels--not much nose, somewhat watered down concentration, and low fruit. A little high on the acid. Overall fairly well balanced, but just not much there. Definitely improves with a little time in the decanter. After about an hour it opened up more on the nose, and started showing some autumn leaves and cigar box.
