Tuesday, January 17, 2012 - (Mostly) Gigondas (Vin Vino Wine, Palo Alto, CA): Reduced nose of tire rubber that blew off a bit with air to reveal a bit of raspberry fruit. Medium bodied with low to medium acidity. Better on the palate with nice depth of red cherry fruit and a bit of black pepper. Not particularly complex at this point but nice.
