Sunday, April 9, 2017 - Popped and poured. This is a translucent cherry-red wine. On the nose, I get pine, raspberry, strawberry, and some slight smoke. In the mouth, this has good structure, with cherry and sap flavors predominating. The finish is zesty and mouthwatering, bringing the drinker back for more. Overall, this is an alluring wine, one with an initial sense of purity that ultimately pulls through the finish. This is in a terrific spot right now -- I would drink in the next 3-4 years. 91 points.
