Friday, July 24, 2020 - This wine continues to impress with its dark fruit, leather, violet and game flavors. The color has lightened a bit to garnet but is still youthful. The nose is old school and wonderfully complex. The wine is almost prikly on the palate due to the rugged layers of extract and strong acid. Not for the faint of heart as this is burly. Thinking this is a good time to drink while there is more than enough substance to cover the strong acid core. If you like traditional Rhône Syrah, this is one for you. Me likey. (93)
