Monday, February 21, 2022 - I put this away strictly as an "experiment." Opened with a group lof 6 serious drinkers and no one could believe this was a 21 year old California Chardonnay. Beautiful light gold color with no signs of oxidation at all. The oak was perfectly integrated and barely noticeable.....certainly not intrusive. Still lively and simply delicious. We all had the first glass blind and then the remainder with a very tasty pasta dish. The dish featured shrimp and a light cream sauce and the wine held up quite well. A real revelation!
