Friday, January 18, 2013 - Union des Grands Crus 2010 Bordeaux Tasting (Palace Hotel - San Francisco): Quite a bit of coffee beans on the nose, along with aromas of cassis, rich red cherries, graphite, and cedar. More lead pencil and coffee on the palate, as well as cassis, rich black cherries, spicy black pepper and clove. This is delicious already, with nice richness, firm structure, and great balance.
