Saturday, January 15, 2022 - Drank with friends over several hours. Still youngish looking with a dense core and little browning. Nose began as restrained damp, earthy aromas, but opened over time to smoked dark cherry, brambly berries, oil cured olives, sous bois, forest floor, and dry earth. Still youthful-feeling on the palate with tidy brambly fruits and savory flavors supported by med+ bright acid and persistent, drying med tannins. Drink or hold. Excellent 93.
