Sunday, December 8, 2013 - Deep burgundy color. long wide legs ~14.5% ABV. Spicy, black berries in the nose, some fragrant cedar. Soft tannins surround jammy black currants on the palate. Oak really held well in balance with the peppery acids. Very warm, too, makes for an exciting mouth fell. If anything, it's better the second day!
