Saturday, June 9, 2012 - Mineral nose: cold iron and wet chalk. Tight aromas of grapefruit and green apples, asparagus and cucumber, white peach after a while in the glass. Highly engaging acidity which is by no means too "piquant" just very well integrated with the extract and and the dominant minerality of this true "Steinwein". A sizzle of bicarbonate and frizzante mineral water on the slightly earthy finish leaves you begging for another sip.
