Tuesday, December 18, 2012 - Stunning limestone minerality and dense aromas of ripe zesty citrus - lemon and blond grapefruit, with a dash of pineapple. Brazingly high acidity in perfect balance with the concentrated fruit and minerality, with a small twist of grapefruit bitterness but oh so high on stone. Super-electric wine, only getting better. Has put on serious weight since last time. A mindblowing version of von der Fels! Note to self: don't drink any more bottles now, as this will evolve into something (even more) spectacular.
