It showed as expected; however, wine is showing some obvious alcohol notes on the bouquet and palate that distracts from its overall quality. Otherwise, this showed a very similar profile to a bottle tasted in October of 2008. This is an outstanding wine and hopefully some additional bottle age will better integrate the alcohol notes. It it does this wine could really evolve into a wonderful complex and nuanced mature Tempier.
