Clearly an older champagne with nutty aromatics but still very youthful - in fact it became fresher with air. Superb balance after a couple of hours and another example of how indestructible old NVs are. With this amount of age, I think the difference to tête de cuvées is marginal. Was a couple of others’ favourite of the champagne flight, and a close second for me.
