Tuesday, May 15, 2012 - I bought this to pep up a much older Louis Roederer NV - and together they worked well. On its own, this is pale lemon in colour, with a pungent, toasty nose. Quite a broad, sweetish palate, nicely balanced acidity and fruit. Mouthfilling mousse. Really nice stuff. [Cork + cage; 12% abv; Booths, £34.55]
