Sunday, December 17, 2023 - This one needs food counter the 15.5% ABV. Alone, the back of throat burn is quite evident. Decanted at 65 degrees F for about an hour. The oak is still evident on the nose. Some red fruits, flowers as a well. The palate and nose are dominated by the small amount of Cabernet Sauvignon. There is a spiciness and pepperiness that has to be from the cab sauv and cab franc. Medium acidity, medium, integrated tannins and medium finish. Others have said “too young “, but IMO, the longer you let this one sit, the more the alcohol will overpower
