Monday, August 1, 2016 - I would've never guessed this as Barbera! Smell is spicy with coffee, tobacco and plum. Taste has dark chocolate, tobacco, dark cherry and blackberry.
Fresh fruit but dominated with very high spiciness and acidity. I wish I would've waited some more years to get the most of it. For Barbera this wine has amazing depth to it.
