Friday, May 11, 2018 - The nose was bright and zesty with crushed stone and musky animal tones, as minerals and dried florals emerged along with fresh strawberry. On the palate, I found silky textures with saturating dark red fruits and spice to offset an almost oily like feel on the senses. Fine tannin and minerals mounted toward the finale and lasted throughout as notes of dried black cherries lingered long. It’s a wonderfully fresh wine for the vintage and producer.
