Monday, June 3, 2013 - Big nose of dark fruits - blackberry and cassis, along with oak and earth. Medium bodied with deep, rich fruit flavors that match the nose, along with some spice and earth. The flavors are somewhat bordeaux-like as there is clearly some merlot, cab franc and/or petite verdot in the mix. Good concentration with a smooth, creamy texture and nice balance. Medium plus, fruity finish with a nice touch of acidity. Drinking well now - and I will probably drink up over the next 3-5 years as I believe it lacks the structure to last much longer than that. Good, solid cabernet blend.
